Wireless Logitech Notebook Mouse works with MX700!

Thread Starter
I was testing out the Logitech Wireless Notebook Mouse with the mouse refresh utility and noticed the refresh rate was 125 Hz so I thought I would try this.

I grabbed my MX700 from my desktop, clicked on the locate button on the USB dongle for the notebook mouse and clicked the connect button on the MX700. It was detected immediately.

This is nice as I do like my MX700 and can use it with the notebook when I am at home.

For travel I will continue to use the smaller notebook mouse.

Just a heads up for those that may have similar setups.

Cheers!

Hmm...so the little usb dongle can communicate with other logitech devices...interesting.

That's very interesting actually, being that I own both the Logitech Notebook Cordless mouse and the MX700...

Pity the neat and tiny little dongle from my Labtec won't communicate with my main MS mouse , I still have to use the large corded reciever that came with the MS wireless... I mean... its not really wireless it fyou have to connect up that thing IMO

yeah tell me about it have you seen the MX900 base? its this huge thing to charge your mouse on and requires a usb connection and the wire itself ties into the power supply its nuts if you dont have a bluetooth card

That is the real sham these days, wireless devices that require wires!
