I think that Rick has an SSD (or possibly 2 in RAID 0) and anybody without one doesn't stand a chance of competing.

Fresh install of Win 7 64 - Unable to get it any faster than this so far.

Installed OS with Sata configured as AHCI for ssd

Enabled quick boot in bios

Discarded video card and used on-chip graphics

No video/sound drivers loaded

msconfig - no GUIboot...startup/services disabled
