When I ordered my desktop a year ago, It came without and OS because I already have Win 2000. Two days ago I upgraded Win XP from 2000. There was an error during installation. Rebooted it gave me a blue screen stating it was unable to load either versions of windows. Safe mode and booting windows at the last bootable setting doesn't work. Then I tried installing it on my second hardrive and it booting it on that drive works, Clicking on my computer I can see drive C: and D: but because my second hardrive's is slower than the first because its rpm is lower , I did a fresh install. Afterwards I had to format and fresh install it. During setup, I deleted the partitons on both drives and then formated C: drive and installed win xp. Everything is alright during setup, but when I double clicked my computer I noticed only one hardrive shows up. I can't find or access drive D:. Is it because I didn't create a partition on Drive D:, after deleting it? Or do I need a driver for the second hardrive because mine didn't come with the computer. What should I do?
