Which modular DVD drive is better?

I have both of these dives and they both look idenitcal. Which one is better?

Would either have firmware to enable dual layer?

SONY DVD+-RW DWQ58A

PHILIPS DVD+-RW SDVD8820

They both are pretty close specs wise, and they both support Dual layer DVDs

Thanks for the quick response. I am surpirsed that the logos on the door doesn't show the DL symbol.

Dell may have missed that, as they would be adding thier own bezel to the drive
