Today I reinstall my Win XP. So I can turn my RAID 0.
I decide unplug the power and let it run on battery. Funny thing happen !
Screen's back light become unstable when I set the back light to MAX. Back light start flashing. It act like the back light level keeps going up and down every sec. After I adjust the back light to lower setting or plug back the power, screen stop flashing. I think the battary in 8790 is not powerful enough to run 2 HD and screen on max at same time.
Is that normal or it's jut me ?

Well, from what I understand, the 8790 doesn't run the screen @ max brightness when it's running on battery power. You can definitely see a difference between the two when you look at it on battery power and when you plug it in. Very noticeable difference. Maybe it's stuck in a loop where it's trying to turn the brightness down due to running on battery and it can't complete the operation, so it flashes back to full setting, realized it's on battery, so tries to power back down to minimal settings, gets looped back and starts over again.

Just a guess. Sounds like time to give Sager a call.
