Is there a modular hard drive?

On dell latitudes, lots of stuff fits into the modualr bay. Is there a dell enclosure I can put a hard drive in, to add more capacity. I want to avoid USB/FIREWIRE hard drives.

That is too good to be true........Are you telling me I can buy this, slap a SATA drive in it and will work perfectly with my C610 even though it is PATA motherboard?

How is the performance with this? Equal to the main hard drive? If left in place can it be bootable?

The reason I ask is this is too good to be true, is that it would be awsome to buy a new SATA drive, and slap it in for a performance increase over the ATA/IDE drives.

Never hurt to ask the sellers. But anything that use modular can't be as fast as the internal one - only convenience of having a 2nd drive.

cheers ...
