That was what I was afraid of in my earlier post. You can try a new fan, but I suspect that the motherboard is failing.

Having nothing to lose you might want to bake the board and hope for the best. We have many tips here in the forum.

well i got a lenovo ideapad y560 with an i3 and the switchable graphics and 4 gigs of ddr3 ram and a 500 hdd
