Terrible battery life for K50AF1

Hope I'm in right area for my question. I love my Asus K50AF1
Laptop. First laptop I ever had. My only problem is the battery life of a charge. I believe its only maximum of 2 hours
Being a rookie I was wondering if I can buy a stronger battery for my Laptop Model? I believe I got it as a gift from my Uncle on Amazon in May or June 2010

Do you have the latest BIOS for your laptop? I noticed when I upgraded the BIOS on my K50IN the idle power consumption went from 15.5 watts down to less than 10.5. Try turning off programs you don't use and making your laptop more efficient overall. You could also give undervolting a try but thats a little more complicated depending on your skill. As for a higher capacity battery, I have not been able to find one that works good your best bet is to just buy a second battery and keep it with you if possible. And also make your computer more efficient by the means above.
