LCD photo request

dunno whether its possible - would be nice to see some pics of some different screen res's next to each other.....

eg. photo of a 1280x800 (15.4') and a 1440 (15 or 15.4') and a 1600 etc. like just a plain desktop shot - to get a good 'at a glance' comparison of the reses...

Can any1 help this poor buyer!

Or...do what I did, if you are in or near a city. Go to a CompUSA, Best Buy, Curcuit City, Fry's or any "Big Box Store" and go to a notebook that can do the maximum resolution (lots of them can), then reduce the resolution to the other resolutions you are interested in. The fonts won't be quite as sharp, but you will be able to see what you are interested in. I did this yesterday myself.

Hmm, yes thought of that but in South Africa atm - not so easy to find decent laptops in store, with a lot of them they only have the most common models (i.e. cheap) and order the others on request... trying to decide from a distance is a pain!! Thank goodness for forums...
