Not sure if this is the right place to mention this but I've removed two working 512MB PC2700 SODIMMs from my defective Sager 8790.

 

(Mainboard failed to due the on-board ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 overheating / Artifacting)

 

I've advertised them on eBay, item number 290549046405 , 30 day listing, Buy It Now (£15.99 each UK GBP) (approximately $25.75 each USD).
