Best Backpack for a 888x (in the UK)

Hi all, well I took the plung and ordered a Mesh Ultima lappy (basically an 8887 under any other name :P)

Anyway, I intend to use this for development work and as such will be lugging it to clients sites to work on it in situ so to speak. Being a 'big' chap I have no quarms with the weight (think about 20lbs mark) - but need some opinions on what is currently being used.

Points to bare in mind:

1) I will be carrying technical manuals with my laptop
2) secondary pockets are a bonus for all my crap (laptop related or not :P)
3) It has to fit a 888x without a real squeeze
4) While I appreciate feedback if possible please try and stick to manufacturers that either deliver to the UK or distibute here - as I've seen some wonderful backpacks but most are only available state side...

I've read the posts about the Targus packs, but am interested in finding out if anyone is using Clive's 'Worker' bag or any other 'street wear' manufacturers that produce bags in this arena - although I don't want to sacrifice functionality for form (just want to try and make it less obvious as a laptop carrying bag)

Anyway I'm writing this in stops and starts so I'll sign off now

Thanks for any response

regards

Not sure if it's available in the UK, but the High Sierra computer case/backpack is MOST EXCELLENT for the 888E models (what you and I have). PLENTY of room, and it is a case (w/ handle/shoulder strap) and also has hidden backpack shoulder straps to convert it to a backpack (though it still looks like a case, just worn as a backpack).

I can fit both my 8887, my wifes Compaq presario 1500, and our power supplies, mice, external firewire HDs (2), and all sorts of other crap in there!

Plus, I got the "orangish" highlighted pack, and it "kinda-sorta" matched my Hybrid cutom paint job.

Here is a link to see what I'm talking about.

Good luck,

Thanks myrkat, I think I came across these of a site that sells in the UK...I will go have another hunt about...

Any opinions on Jansports Gizmo II or Cyber-Break II? They look like they may be a tad on the small side...
