advice on purchasing a dell/alienware laptop

hey all,
in the future, i plan on purchasing an alienware for gaming and personal use. i just priced it on dell.com and it retails for about $2800.

are there any other places i can purchase an alienware laptop for cheaper? i know i picked some outrageous options, but are there any reputable places where i can get a custom built machine for cheaper than the dell.com site?

They have an outlet shop on ebay but that is about it.
