Lucky I only spent $25 on this DDR2 stick, but still spewing about this very confusing information/tech sheet from notebookcheck.net. They clearly say that "Instead of GDDR memory, cheap DDR2 or DDR3 main memory modules can be used." Tell me how you would understand that yourself being only a neophyte?
I believe that in regarding of GPU reviews, notebookcheck adheres strictly to manufacturers point of view. As in this case of "Instead of GDDR memory, cheap DDR2 or DDR3 main memory modules can be used
." it meant that the GPU manufacturer chose to go with cheaper ram to keep the unit pricing down.
About replacing your current GPU with another one, as mentioned above it is being integrated onto the motherboard from the assembly line, so it cannot be just simply swapped out like a CPU.
