SOOOOO much to do...
and cranking up some ben howard on my awesome sound system isn't helping.
not a good feeling. and the issue with project management is that anything you don't do today - is waiting for you the next day.
maybe if i got some pork chops for lunch it would help? blushing.gif

TGIF! Have a good day! Have a nice lunch!

I did an hour upper body workout. 10 minutes on the machine to warm up. 5 sets of 20 rows

with 40 pound weights. 6 sets of 20 push-ups. 5 sets of 20 reps with the Iron Arms.

12 more minutes on the machine doing the upper body.

I had a Döner! And you know what they say... "Döner macht schöner!"

... Did I beat it?

no chance matey ... it also depends on where you got your Döner winknudge.gif Only good place that I know of is in the Reeperbahn area, dingy little shop on the strip not so far from Mc Donald (I think) ... I'll take a pic of it next time I go to the Fischmarkt.

By the way French business lunch lasted 2 1/2 hours, beating the one in Madrid IBM Office by 10 mintues laugh4.gif

Hmm well in terms of Dönerbuden in HH i've sorta only hung around my neck of the woods in Eppendorf... and i agree about the "which one"...

I've had Döner in the following places:
Hamburg azz.gif Oberursel (where I grew up, a short ways out of Frankfurt), Frankfurt, London, Munich, Calella (close to Barcelona), Madrid, Ravenna (Italy), Waterloo (Belgium), Brussels, Bristol (UK), Bath (UK) and probably a few more that I can't think of...

the best place still is Oberursel. and it's been at least 4 years since i had one there.

happy days!

i'll send you one via dhl next time i'm there. winknudge.gif

ok, I give in .... with your traveling Döner experience I am no match for it laugh4.gif

I do miss Barcelona, spent almost 3 weeks working there many many moons ago ... where I learned rubbing tomatoes on your bread and enjoying Jamon

Eppendorf eh? I like that area, I am way over at the end of Bramfeld, towards Poppenbütel:)

Yeah my old man lives just outside of Barna so I'll be around there just before Christmas, goodtimes... hopefully I have my new lappy in working condition by then so I can sit around playing some fun mmorpgs or whatnot.

instead twiddling my thumbs. or reading books. that's like the middle ages or something... pfff haha

Reading books is good for the mind. I love reading, on the bus, on the train, on the planes wink.gif And I am going back home to California over Christmas and New Year tongue.gif

ah ok well that's alright for some, never been to cali myself, not yet in any case.

and no worries, i read an awful lot as well. sadly my girlfriend bought me a kindle for my birthday. I'd recently been on a bit of Tad Williams binge, and gotten 4 of his series (trilogies/quadrilogies) and she was getting worried that i'd fill the shelves with my books- they're 700-page whoppers.

and the kindle is awfully thin...

but they say "never judge a book by it's cover"... uhm... aka "never judge a book by it's e-ink graphical representation of the bookcover on a small screen with no color" azz.gif

I can't get myself to use e-books, just yet. Still liking feeling the papers and turning the pages smile.gif

I agree, it is quite a change, and turning a tangible page, and reaching that last page -- it's certainly something else...

but believe you me, it's convenient to take 30 books with you in something so tiny, which doesn't need recharging for AGES, when you're on a long trip somewhere.

so if my girlfriend thinks i will never buy a real book again... well... she might be disappointed.

but i do like the kindle very much, even if it doesn't work well with those pop-up stories i like so much laughing.gif
