Planning to start school this fall and I just purchased my first notebook; a Dell i14R from Staples for $529. With $150 off their regular asking price I felt it was too good to pass up with the specs it had!
I really would have liked to had an all aluminum body, but its not something that's easy to find with these specs with a budget of only $750 - $800 including at least a 2yr basic warranty.
So, did I make an alright call on this notebook, or is there something else that perhaps I should get instead? I still have until Friday to return this notebook to Staples
Only brands I'm interested in are - Dell, HP, Toshiba, Lenovo & Sony.
I'm also still leaning towards only buying from major store like Staples or Best Buy just because its more personal and I feel that I would be more comfortable if I ever encountered a problem.
