Best Performance Notebook Laptop up to 13''. Please recommend.

Hi Guys

 

I am looking for a portable high performance notebook laptop no bigger than 13'' . I already have a Alienware M11x but it has let me down performance wise. What other laptops would you recommend? I had the sony vaio vpc Z 13'' series in mind, do any of you guys here own one? if so please share your experiences with it.
