alienware area 51 m9750 problems

hi all, first post..

 

I have a pc with 2 dvi ports on the graphics card for the monitor.. my monitor is dead so can i use my alienware laptop as a new monitor since it has a dvi port on the back... if so, how should i go bout working the pc through my laptop..

That DVI port is not an INPUT on the laptop. It's only an OUTPUT.
