xps 16 touchpad issue

i never had a problem, but recently reloaded windows from scratch
my touch pad is too slow for me in regards to its speed on screen, so after installing drivers, i installed the dell touchpad software from their website

i used the software to increase the speed, and that worked.
but everytime i restart my laptop, it reverts back and I have to go into the dell touchpad settings to incresase speed again

anyone have this issue or any ideas whats going on?

its dell touchpad version 14.2 if that helps on win 7 64bit

Try removing the other drivers?

what other drivers?
the dell touchpad is the only one for the touchpad, i dont think i have any conflicting drivers......

My bad .. reading your OP I took it that you installed the Dell driver after the normal touch pad drivers ... (needing eye glasses)

Want to give this driver a shot?

i tried the driver, after installing it, i couldnt find an option to increase touchpad speed like there is in the basic dell touchpad driver settings page
so i got rid of it.

I would not expect that it has the "speed" ding as with Dell driver. But did the touchpad performance improved even without the speed option?
