With Lenovo having a pretty massive 30% off deal on their T520 (Sandy Bridge 2.7 ghz, Optimus, 4 GB ram, 500 GB hdd, 1920x1080 screen), I've been very tempted to pull the trigger and buy one. But I don't really need a new laptop right now and I don't want to get caught buying something that's going to be massively out of date in 9 months. I haven't been able to keep up on notebook developments lately, so the question really is, is there anything coming out in the next 9 months that should really make me say "wait"? Personally I can't really think of anything that's going to be that evolutionary. Maybe SATA 6 Gbps ssd's costing an arm and a leg, and perhaps Ivy Bridge with a tiny bit better performance on a die shrink. But is there anything else?
