Hey,

Considering getting this, whats the general consensus on this model?

Also how portable is it, I want to take it out every now and then, a little air is good for these things.

Thanks :D

The specs look good. It's got the same graphics card as the Alienware M14X, so games should play well on it. The high resolution screen is also nice to have, as are the USB 3.0 ports.

As to its portability, it's a decent weight for a 15" notebook. If you haven't used a system with a 15.6" screen, you can get an idea of their size and weight by going to a local computer or electronics store and lifting a few. In my opinion, that size is moderately portable, but if you plan to be taking it on a lot of airline flights, I'd go with something a bit smaller.

I found that if I order it from the xotic site, I can have a "15.6" FHD 16:9 "Matte Type" Super Clear Ultra Bright LED Anti-Glare Screen w/ 95% NTSC Color Gamut (1920x1080)" Sounds very exotic, but I've heard the quality is incredible. With shipping it does come out at about 1200 pounds thought. Which is annoying, but I think I may go for it.

Are there any rivaling UK based customising brands that people know/have used?

Eurocom also does Clevo models (which Sager specializes in), and by the name, I would presume it's based in Europe.
