i'm having a MSI GX660 gaming notebook having hd mobility 5870,4gb ram and i5 460 m processor. i'm planning to buy a new LED tv and then want to connect my notebook with it for playing games,i want to know that connecting to LED tv decrease the performance of my graphic card while playing games or will the quality and performance will remain the same as they were in my laptop. the resolution of my laptop is 1366*768 while the tv will definately be a full HD. so, plz tell me if the performance will remain the same or will it be decreased if i play games on a full hd LED tv.

I personally do not see why the card would under-perform on a LED TV - more like the LED TV (and connection) cannot handle the signals. Also game screen resolutions play an important role in the game performance as well.

so you think that there will be no problem as far as the performance is concerned, if i play games on full hd on LED tv with my mobility hd 5870 graphic card.

The card only does what it does - there is no card performance difference on the same processing machine. Your screens are a different ball game altogether (resolutions, Hz ...) You just need to tweak them to accommodate what the games can do.

Take your example - what is full HD meaning to you? playing at high resolution? If so, can the game handles it?

cheers ...
