Way to force keyboard backlight to ALWAYS on for xps 15 l502x?

Wow, can't believe I am back in these forums again after these years lol. But I ended up getting a XPS 15 1502x through the outlet site with coupon, instead of paying full price like I did with my XPS 2nd gen that cost almost way too much (almost 3 k?).

Anyways, is there a way to force the backlit keyboard to just stay on? I know how to adjust the bright/turn it off. I think it looks nice on all the time, and it's kind of hard to see the keys in dim lighting when they're idle. I'm just being picky, but any help would be cool.

Cheers

Oh, and I love the my xps again.

Try going into Windows Mobility Center and adjust the timeout of the back lit keyboard - pretty much the same idea as never turning off the screen display wink.gif

Thank's this was helpful though i must say i would like a way to specify the time rather than have set times listed in a drop down box. Also what if you are using an external mouse? as the back light on the keyboard only wakes up when a key on the keyboard is pressed or the touch pad is moved, but not when an external mouse is moved... maybe i can map my mouse to my mouse pad :D
