I currently own a Dell XPS M1330 laptop and I've had it for about three years now. I really like the laptop a lot but it has gotten old and slow and now it's time for a new laptop. I'm looking for the fastest laptop that I can get within the $1000 range (flexible).
Screen Size: 11" - 14" (13.3" would be ideal)
Weight: Less than 5 lbs (less than 4 lbs would be ideal)
Processor: Fastest possible. (preferably i7)
Graphics Card: Not important
I'm currently looking at the alienware M11x (the new ones come with the i7 processor).
This seems to be my best bet for around $1000
There are some Dell vostro / latitude laptops that look good, but with the spec I want the prices are running up to $1500
I'm also open to looking at brands outside Dell. Please do suggest what you think I should look into. Thanks.
