latitude E6410 ,shortcut keys in XP

hello ,i'm new here so please excuse my english.

now on my problem ,I will be very short.  I have a latitude E6410 with XP on it,the problem in that i can't make the keys correspond to FN key and the LATITUDE ON buton to work.

 

is some software or drivers for this ,in the device manager nothing is with "yellow".

Not familiar with FN and the ON key. What exactly is this combination supposed to do?

FN+UP arrow - increase display brightness

FN+DOWN arrow - decrease display drightness

FN+LEFT arrow - automatic display adjustment (for brightness)

 

FN+F8 - change to  external display

 

FN+F3 - dell power manager

 

 

and so on .......only the volume is working but for that I don't need the FN key because have dedicate keys.

 

the "LATITUDE ON" button is next to the power button on left,and is use to start de notebook without the OS. I succeed to start the application ,but only with  icon from desktop. and I want to use that button for starting the application when the notebook is off too. is very frustrating.

I am clear about the FN keys. I thought you wanted something in combination with the Latitude ON keys.

Regarding the Latitude ON key functionality, would this description help for set up and usage?

I'am familiar with the settings for application,I can't start the application when the computer is on when I press the button. it starting only from the icon on desktop,but it starts when computer is of.
