Heh. When Bungie separated from Microsoft, Microsoft took over the IP for Halo. Halo I didn't know wasn't a Microsoft IP/Idiea initially, Bungie was bought out after Halo was in development.

Bungie it seems learned their lesson and chose Activision over Microsoft because they are allowed to retain the IP of their next game. But sadly, Bungie will just be another cross platform developer, recruiting for PS3 right now, so I have little expectations from Bungie. Probably be the same old story of being spread too thin and having to compromise time and budget to do this.

Microsoft meanwhile looks like will develop Halo 4 all in house with their 343i?
