Upgrading my cpu and memory - Inspiron 1420

Okay I have searched to death and I see lots of explanations but most of them are outdated prior to the newest A10 bios for my Inspiron 1420 and just confusing over all.  I am going to upgrade my T7300 cpu to a T9300/9500 and am upgrading my memory to 4gb.  I am looking at the G.Skill on Newegg and I'm just not sure which would work best, the 667 CL4 or the 800 CL5.  The 800 CL5 is $5 cheaper.

From reading, it sounds like if the 800 isn't supported, it will down clock to the 667, but would it still be at the CL5 or would it be the same as the CL4?.  Also from reading, it sounds like the A10 bios update changed it so the 800mhz would be read as that and not underclocked.  Can anyone clear this up for me and just tell me which would be better for me?  I've been googling and reading and I know the CL4 v  5 has been beaten to death, just still confused about it

Thanks for any help guys.

I'm impatient, I went w/ the 800, lol.  I know I won't notice a difference either way and it was $5 cheaper.
