upgrade to windows 7 from xp

can I install windows 7 on my alienware D9T laptop where do I find the drivers

Hello, first post on these forums.  I've found out that upgrading from XP to 7 was seamless.  I personally secure the network drivers before I upgrade (the internet is your friend in finding drivers).  Another way of finding out who makes what is to get the device ID from the device manager and google it.  I think you'll find that upgrading to windows 7 will be a good thing.  Good luck!

Which model was the D9T?

Possibly the Area-51M 7700.  I'm checking my old "My Hive" and that was the clone model my Area-51M 7700 was.
