Power4Gear Installation Problem

Hello everyone, I realized my gaming performance on Bad Company 2 was not as good as it should be, so I decided to look for answers, then I remembered about Power4Gear Hybrid, I opened the program, realized Turbo Boost was off, and that my laptop has been in entertainment mode since I last used Power4Gear Hybrid about a month ago azz.gif

When I tried to change the settings back to gaming mode, it wouldn't stay, I kept changing it to gaming mode, then coming back to see it was still in entertainment mode, instead of troubleshooting I simply uninstalled Power4Gear and redownloaded it.

Now I've tried to install it 3 different ways in various methods,
1. Newest version of Power 4 Gear Hybrid (my laptops version of course)
2. Older version
3. Older version from the install disc

When I try to install from the install disc it just says "failed" when I try to install then asks if I would like to Reboot, which makes no difference when I do.

When I try the other ways with the download, an error comes up you can see in the picture

I have tried restoring my computer to when I uninstalled it, that was the farthest back I could restore it to, no luck though bored.gif

I have also tried uninstalling ATK because I heard somewhere that ATK has something to do with it, I reinstalled ATK and still no luck! I have done this a few times now.

I can switch to gaming mode through power options, but I can't access whether to enable/disable Turbo Boost, not even in the BIOS at startup, there's no option for Turbo Boost huh.gif

Somebody please give me some suggestions, I've heard Power4Gear Hybrid actually slows down game performance too, so maybe I just need another way to enable Turbo Boost, I really want Turbo Boost

So, my question is:
How do you enable Turbo Boost without Power4Gear on the Asus G51-JX X3 / G60JX?

I don't see any option in Bios and I have the Turbo Boost Technology driver installed.

Thanks in advance

SPECS:
Nvidia 360m
Intel i5 430m
4GB DDR3 RAM

I installed that already, nothing has happened though, nothing in bios, I'll try again tomorrow though. Thanks

You might want to use some sort of drivers cleaner app and remove the old ones first. Make sure that you create a restore point before applying / changing anything

cheers ...
