Buying notebook for college/gaming

I will be using this as my main only pc for about 3-4 years and am considering getting a 32 in monitor for home along with this

I cant really decide on getting the alienware m17x with this build for about 1800 with tax included

or the sager 8130 with no real specific build and it would be helpful if you could link me a something that would compete with this

problem i have is

is it really worth spending so much on the alienware?

is the alienware too bulky and flashy?

ive never really heard of sager until now so getting something unknown is kinda ehh to me

Other than the screen resolution a bit weak for a 17" size (my personal opinion), it's a good price for an Alienware. Can't expect gaming 17" systems not to be bulky, regardless which brand you are going with. Have you taken a look at MSI as well?

cheers ...
