Isn't the 512MB you bought from HP (2) X 256MB?? If you were going to "toss it" for a memory add-on later, would there have been any advantage to buying 256MB from them, since that is an available offering for the nw8000 ??? Just wondering your complete rationalle on this ???
Also, does anyone know if both DIMM sockets are fully accessible on the HP nc8000/nw8000, or is one of them "buried" inside the unit somewhere ???
Thanks,
