Bluetooth versus wireless mouse- what to buy?

I want to buy a bluetooth mouse. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse combo from logitech since long but I don,t like it,s USB receiver( way too big). Also I don,t find the shape and size of the mouse comfortable to me.

I read on internet some users who were complaining that they had to switch over to wireless mouse from bluetooth one due to a bit poor performance by bluetooth mouse( lag, connectivity issues etc).

Another issue is the drain put by a bluetooth mouse on the battery. Not sure if it will affect the battery life significantly as compared to wireless one?

I wonder if there are users on this forum who can share their personal experience and give me some feedback.

Thanks

Bluetooth mouses do use lots of batteries laugh4.gif I personally use rechargeable batteries (4 pieces and a charger) - saving $$$

As far as poor performance, it all depends on what you want to do with the mouse. Wireless devices are pretty much for convenience and desk cleanliness than anything else

cheers ...

Thanks.

Actually many users seem to complain a bit lag and some times episodic transient unresponsiveness by bluetooth devices while wireless mice never show such behavior.

Have not tried bluetooth mouse but I guess battery usage will not be far different with wireless. Wireless battery use is not very earth friendly.
