How do I switch on Intel(R) ProSet Wireless on Acer 5670

I have 'Intel(R) ProSet' Wireless on my Acer 5670.

When I try to turn the "wireless on" button on the wireless (wifi) connection, it says:

I must turn on the "Hardware switch."

Does anyone know how and where I can find this?

Have you checked your keyboard for a Fn combination...Fn key with one other with a wireless icon picture on it (usually in the F1,F2 series of keys at the top)...the switch you turnedon, is it the one on the front edge of the laptop..first one to the left of the right hand speaker There should be a blue LED light which comes on when the wifi is activated

switch on the front, just left of the right speaker. look for the satellite dish looking icon.
