ubuntu removal for vista

Im using a Fujitsu esprimo v6535 intel celeron 2.2 with 3 gbram

I am trying to remove ubuntu from my vista ultimate machine, I have put the vista disk in and followed instrutions to command and input bootrec.exe then FixMbr, After typing /fixbmbr I get a message saying '/FixMbr' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable programme or batch file.

Any help would be gratefull,

Would it be simple just to boot into Vista, run msconfig and then remove the Ubuntu boot option from the boot list? Then you can delete/fornat the Ubuntu partition afterward
