Ever wished you had dual screens on a laptop? No? Well GScreen's new Spacebook has two 17.3-inch displays, each with resolution up to 1920 x 1080. GScreen offers two models, the first starting at $2395 gets you 2.66GHz Core i5-560M CPU, 4GB of DDR3 memory, NVIDIA's GeForce GTS 250M (1GB), a 500GB HDD and DVD burner. The secon model is $400 more with an upgraded CPU (1.73GHz Core i7-740QM), 8GB of DDR3 memory and weighs 10 pounds!. Thoughts on this mobile monster?

My first thought was, "250M? WTF?" Then I was wondering how it will close and I assume the two screens will fold up one on top of the other. Then I have to wonder why they're still using clarksfield processors. Then I go to the link click on the more details button and see 3x USB 2.0 but no 3.0. Then I wonder why it costs so much when everything inside of it is at least a generation behind current tech.

Believe me Q, this is surely the result of poor research. There's no way there will be a market to suppor this.. not at this price.

The notion of a double screen was presented back in CeBIT 2009 - they just woke up from a deep sleep wink.gif late late in market introduction, just leftover inventory that someone needs to unload
