WD Scorpio Blue model WD10JPVT:

- 9.5mm (2.5" format)
- low power consumption
- cool and quiet operation
- resistant to shocks of up to 400Gs.
- 5.200rpm headscratch.gif
- SATA 2 (3Gbps) standard, Advanced Format

Not bad at around $140.

its at $107 on amazon.

Wow 1TB for a 2.5in that is incredible.  I have yet to use 100GB on my 2 and a half year old macbook pro.

Laptops are practically desktops now (with the exception of specialized desktops).

Apples macbook air is setting up the transition to slim laptops as Intel has predicted the market will head into.

smart phones and ipads are getting more capable and slowly catching the slim laptops.
