The 1 year helps as does the nice screen.

Thanks for the answer Steve, it was top of the line except the cpu. Dell had offered the T7600G that could be overclocked in the bios. This is standard T7600 processor but it's still fast. I agree it's still worth what you stated.

I have a dell xps m1730 red that I spent a fortuene on. Im now trying to sell it to get something smaller and business friendly. AN WOW, it won't sell for anythihing close to what i paid. Maybe i need to drop to the before mentioned prices...
