A release date appeared on Lenovo's site today, stating their 3rd new tablet will be released August 23rd. The ThinkPad Tablet is dubbed an "all-business tablet" with Android 3.1 installed, a premiere business-optimized mobile platform, Data encryption, corporate email and security features for safe communication inside and outside your network.
Spec wise the ThinkPad tablet will have an HD display, HDMI output and Full Flash support for online media. For you slackers, there is also a Netflix ready app. Lenovo already has two other tablets planned. The IdeaPad K1, equipped with Android 3.1 and the IdeaPad P1 which supports Windows 7 and is slated for this fall. Lenovo is surely making a push to compete with Apple's iPad.
