alienware m15x r1 area 51 laptop major issue please help

hello all, recently got a alienware laptop of ebay. formatted the hdd and put windows 7 on, my brother it more of the expert with computers so he done the updates etc, but he couldn't get the nvida graphics card drivers to install as come up with a error cannot find component or something, has tried different drivers for the graphics card but no luck, on the laptop you should be able to switch between the motherboards built in graphics and the nvida graphics card, this would not work but he used some downloaded software to force it to boot with the nvida graphics card, but problem is do not have any drivers installed for it so just shows a black screen, you can hear it loaded up etc but no picture, now it will only do this, if we remove the graphics card it works fine on the built in one,

So what i would like to know how can i make it so it boots with the built in graphics card rarther than the one with no drivers, ?
and what driver do it need for it ?
 

NVIDIA GeForce Go 8800M GTX is the graphics card it has

please help

windows 7 was your first problem. The notebook isnt designed for win7 and to go back and forth between the on board and dedicated GPU, you need the special Alienware drivers, which you will not be able to find for Windows 7.

Hello,ok the comand center is now sorted, I am using the correct drivers for the card and laptop for windows 7 64 bit

I am running the old skull m15x area 51 laptop with windows 7 64 bit and the comandcenter is working, only issue still is nivda graphics card tho think it is knackerd,
