Here is the problem with my Asus M70Vn notebook. The device will not turn on when a battery is attached. If I remove the battery the device will power on just fine with the AC cord, once I put the battery back in it shuts off. I purchased a new battery, so it is not the battery. I know what occurred to cause this problem, my son plugged in a phone power cord to the laptop, since then this battery problem has been happening. Any ideas on possible fixes?
