You pay more for the Alienware aesthetics, which I don't mind doing.

yeah i dont mind paying more for the alienware im just scared it will break. I have heard from a ton of people that they have great computers until they break but when that happens the customer support is pretty much useless. I have a friend that payed 3300 for his laptop and within the 1st month the side panel was coming off.

yeah but the extended warraty is like an extra 200 just for that and ive heard that they dont ever fix your problem. I know im leaning toward the toshiba i think its more bang for the buck but you have to have a laptop that looks cool to so i cant make a decision. Do any of you own a alienware laptop? ive heard that the most expensive ones cant even max graphic intense games like Crisis.

looking at the site for the toshiba it doesnt seem like the toshiba has a turbo to overclock, but the alien ware does and u can use it for gaming and school work... im not so sure about the toshiba but i have heard the toshiba is very durable.
