Hi, I know some of you will say this is a old question headscratch.gif and that there is not a real perfect SSD and that each one prefer the brand they trust more, but because I never install any of them and that I am new with this M11x-R3 I ask for any advance with this... thumbup.gif

What I have a M11X-R3 with the new i7, 8 Gb DDr3 Ram and WD 750GB 7200RPM HD.

The Big question is what SSD is better I why?

What I'm looking installing a SSD, more performance and speed of course but more Battery life too.

What Brand is more reliable and why? from this:
-Ocz
-Corsair
-Mushkin Enhanced
-Crucial
-Intel

What SSD I'm looking:

-OCZ Vertex 3 240 Gb or OCZ Vertex 3 MAX IOPS 240 Gb. wish is better and why?
-Corsair Force 3 240 Gb.
-Intel 510 250 Gb.
-Mushkin Enhanced Chronos 240 Gb or Mushkin Enhanced Chronos deluxe 240 Gb. Again wish one and why?
-Crucial M4 256 Gb.

What SSD have you installed and in what system? how long have you with it? How is it working? What problems?

Pd.I know the 240 Gb is more expensive but I need that capacity and I cant go with an external HD all the time... dummy3.gif

Yes that is what I think but in some other threads are people talking about customer service to be bad from them... That is why I want to make it democratic jaja:laughing:, and get the most opinions posible.
Thanks for your reply. And please remember to vote the poll, please...

Some Intel SSDs have been buggy to the point where the entire drive reduces itself to 8MB.

I have only experience with OCZ SSDs. I have One in my Desktop and one in my netbook. They've both worked out wonderfully with 250 MB Read/Write speeds.
