Dell Inspiron 510 - does not keep the date

Hi,

 

The HD replacement worked well and the 510 lives again!

 

The system is not retaining the date between logins - I guess this means the reserve battery behind the main battery, needs to be replaced. Do you agree?

 

Any recommendations on where to buy one.

 

Also any recommendations on purchase of a new main battery which has also died.

Sounds like it needs a new cmos battery(watch battery).
