So far I have the simple stuff done - it's got a 7200RPM 240G hard drive, upped to 4G of ram, swapped out the WiFi card for an -N wireless, and now it's running OSx Snow Leopard (which oddly enough sees 4G of ram somehow).
On the way - so inside it soon - a T7200 cpu to rid myself of the T2300 (1.66G - 32 bit - 2M L2).
After that I am going to try to find a Bluetooth card that will work with the machine and OSx - hopefully.
I am also thinking of painting it while I have it mostly apart to install the new-to-me CPU (ebay - $35 plus shipping) - off white, and use something like my avatar to make a stencil for the lid.
What I would like to know is if there is some way to rig up a bezel mounted internal cam.
I have no problems with taking it all apart, and probably have a few bezels kicking around that could become "donors" for the cam - I just am not sure on if it's possible with this mobo as in if there would be any place to connect internally.
The M65 was a hand-me-down as it was not working (bad ram I think). The ram and hard drive came from a dead netbook. The cpu like I said ran me I think just under $50. I need a new battery (ebay has em for $50), Bluetooth card, then getting a fancy Apple Magic Mouse I hope. All in all, I hope to spend maybe $150 to turn this M65 into a poor mans Macbook Pro. HA.
Any thoughts on the cam hack/mod?
