HP Mini 210-1060CA internal mic not working.

Tried the skype test, didnt work..I have also been into Control Panel >Hardware & Sounds>Sound and ensured that internal mic was default. Clicked on Internal Mic and went into Properties to make sure that all sound levels were maxed..No diff..Even though the sound meter looks to be reacting to different levels of sound, still cannot hear my recorded message on skype..Notebook speakers are maxed and working great.

Win7 eh?

When testing the mic in Control Panel, isn't there a mic level indicator, showing whether or not there's even an input connection?

Did more searching around the net and found this and it works..went back into Skype >Tools>Options>Audio settings>Microphone and went into the drop down list...selected internet microphone(IDT High Def Audio Codec) and it is now working great..sorry for the false alarm

No review is too old IMO.

A perspective on the vendor/customer support after 6 months is probably the most important aspect from a buying. Reliability and Performance are also key.
