I have a now 5-year-old Asus S96J laptop with a Radeon Mobility x1400 256mb video card built in. I am trying to connect it to a new 24 inch widescreen Asus monitor through VGA cables.
Unfortunately, it seems to have blurry vertical areas across the monitor. Text will be dark in areas and blurry in others, as well.
I have the most updated drivers I could find for this card, but they are from either 2006 or 2007.
Is this a monitor issue, or is this card not going to display properly on this monitor? Is there a max this card can display at?
