I tend to agree here.

I'm not sure Samsung is ready for the gaming market. It's a hard market to enter and you need something special to break into it.

I'm not opposed to Samsung though, I love their 9 series. I want that to be my next laptop.

Samsung notebooks are mostly sleepers (so we call it here) since they are hardly active in the notebooks area. Good solid machines though, for the models they churned out so far.

Just viewed a clip from Gamescom - this baby has 8GB flash-on-board! Seemed to be lost from the specs advertisement - and the Turbo Cooling, and the backlit keyboard changes color depending on normal/gaming mode with special game keys sporting another color ..

Sorry, I could not find a clip in English, but it is quite self-explanatory

It is now official - one can have it for between $1K-$1.3K depending on the configuration. Price war has begun for gaming notebooks!

With a Radeon 6970, they're attacking something a lot more powerful than the puny GeForce 555m in the M14x, Steve laugh4.gif
