Freezing on flash content?

I've had this problem for a while now. I've tried a clean install, twice. I had the video card and wireless card replaced, also reinstalled windows immediately afterwards.

My computer freezes on flash content. Not everytime, but 3-4 times a day. Usually the screen just goes black and I have to reboot. Sometimes whatever sound happens to be playing at the time just constantly repeats over and over again almost like a skipping record.

It's hard to repeat because it doesn't instantly happen, but it just randomly happens a few times each day.

Thanks.

I have a first gen M17x with a GTX 260, Windows 7.

Is this within a browser or just from a 3rd party app?

Both, any browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome), I've also sometimes noticed it from an AIM banner (was playing a game and froze and knew i had that in the background)

Flash version, Java engine and antivirus software are the main culprits from what I see so far. Review their processes, update them if necessarily. In case of antivirus, might want to play with something else.
