White Spot on LCD of Vostro A860

Title says it, the spot is fairly bright, and about a quarter of an inch large. It appears on the left hand side of screen. It's most noticeable when the background is white or especially a 'light' color, like grey or blue. It's hard to see when background is dark, though.

The LCD screen has Anti-glare, not sure if it uses a coating or not. I'm pretty sure it's NOT a stuck or dead pixel as they are very small, and usually quite faint. I just want to know what it is, and if it it possible to get rid of it? Some help would be great

Screen bled - typical and rare. Can you get a warranty replacement on this?

Warranty ended last year, what else can i do? I do NOT want it to spread or cause more damage of course.

Not much you can do about the bleeding - I am not sure about it being spreading out more. Try to use a piece of paper between the screen and the keyboard when you close the notebook
