Breaking news off Lenovo's Twitter Feed says the new ThinkPad Tablet is now available for pre-order and shipping "soon". One feature that sets the Thinkpad Tablet away from other tablets is the free 2GB of cloud storage owners can use to collaborate, save, sync and share large files between team members and offices. The new Lenovo think pad starts at $499 for 16Gb and customizable up to $660 for the 64GB version. The best part? It runs Android 3.1 and there is a Netflix app (along with 25 other apps designed for the Thinkpad tablet)

Buy here. Specs below.
Quote:
  • NVIDIA® Tegra™ 2 Dual-Core 1GHz processor
    Android™ 3.1
    10.1” WXGA (1280x800) 16:10 IPS panel with Corning® Gorilla® Glass
Multitouch display with digitizer input (pen optional)
    Starting at 1.65 lbs
Up to 8 hours battery life (with WiFi enabled)
    Up to 64GB storage
    Bluetooth®, WiFi and 3G connectivity
Native USB 2.0 and micro-USB ports, full-size SD card slot and mini-HDMI output

View, edit and create Microsoft Office® files with Documents to Go®. Take notes or make updates right into your files with digitizer pen support. Dock your tablet into optional ThinkPad Tablet Keyboard Folio Case to easily answer emails and type reports. And unwind during your downtime with Angry Birds and a number of other preloaded games - including the popular Angry Birds - or buy or rent movies with Digital Rights Management (DRM).

I might take a look at this. I rely heavily on working with Adobe Pro for my work with lots of add-on tools. The S10 tablet did not impress me at all, still using my reliable X60 Tablet from the old days laugh4.gif

I like the cloud storage idea. Problem is, anyone can sign up for a dropbox account.

I am not into the cloud mood just yet smile.gif Still it is nice that Lenovo will be making the storage available to users in conjunction with the machine, giving a bit more weigh (and security sound) to it
