Hello,I recently obtained an old A75 Satellite from my mother and it used to overheat and shut off so I took it apart and cleaned the two fans and the heat sink put more heat absorbent grease on the heat sink and the CPU put it back together and still it shuts down right at the windows screen.I think the over heat protection circuit is damaged is there any way to replace it and how or do I need a new mobo.ps. I also removed the HDD and started with a boot disk still the same problem.

In this case more is not better..the old compound should be cleaned off and an even coat (according to instructions) of Arctic Silver 5 or another comporable compound should be applied...also, make sure the fans are actually coming on...
